The Initial Game Pass Titles of 2026 Reveal Xbox Remains Committed.
Across the gaming landscape, fans keep sounding the death bells for Microsoft's gaming division. Microsoft's console just got outsold by a relatively obscure console. Xbox fan sites began covering about PlayStation as a new development. Last year proved to be an era of significant turmoil for the Xbox ecosystem. However, judging purely by what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it is apparent that Microsoft continues to plan to draw people in with quality releases on its key platform.
The Immediate Additions
A pair of titles currently accessible today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's worth getting excited about.
Significant Forthcoming Releases
Come mid-January, Game Pass will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game that deviates from the standard Ubisoft formula with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, hailed in past assessments as "a superb mixture of frights and fights."
Compelling Indie Titles
However, the more modest titles coming to Game Pass soon are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, the criminally overlooked roguelike that is incredibly fun, drops on Jan. 7th — and it's worth experiencing whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.
The game set in a ruined Britain from last year may draw you in in about 15 minutes flat.
Atomfall, the stealth survival game by the developers behind Sniper Elite, also warrants your attention. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to look forward to.
A Solid, Curated Lineup
In summary, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they don't represent tentpole Microsoft studios games that are the sole reason for the service by themselves. However, this batch of games are rock solid. The lineup provides a solid mix of past releases that passed you by and new-ish games that didn't get the attention they warranted upon launch — rendering them perfect candidates to experience a revival on Game Pass.
Be prepared to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, however.
